If you need to renew your driving license or if you have a health condition requiring medical forms, but you do not have a family doctor, know that our SAAQ medical examinations are accessible to all drivers, regardless of their age or driving license class.
You can get an appointment the same day or as soon as possible. A doctor will complete the required forms and they will then be sent by email.
SAAQ requirements on health and driving license
According to the regulations imposed by the SAAQ on drivers, whatever vehicle you drive and whatever your age group, driving requires appropriate physical condition, mental health and vision. In addition to the required medical checks, for which the SAAQ will send you a request, you must inform the SAAQ of any change in your state of health likely to affect your ability to drive within 30 days following this change.
